Calling All Wilderness Engineers

 

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 17!

The Central Minnesota Council requests the help of 150 Scouts and Scouters to prepare

Parker Scout Reservation for the 2008 camping season.

 

Agenda

On May 17 at 8:30am we will gather in the Craft Lodge for Project Briefing and assignments.

Coffee and donuts will be served.

 

At 9:00am we will go to work!

 

From 12:00-12:45pm we will meet in the Craft Lodge for lunch.

 

At 4:00pm we will meet in the Craft Lodge for Project Assessments and then conclude our day.

 

This will be a great activity for Father & Sons, Mothers & Sons or for the whole family!

And your entire Troop may want to help!

 

Project List

1. Camp Sites - Bulletin Boards, Fill Areas or Stump Removal, Reseed Areas, Prepare Areas

                              for Tent Platforms and General Cleanup

2. Clean Buildings - Craft Lodge, Catholic Chapel, Parker, Dining Hall, etc.

3. Shower House Startup

4. Waterfront Setup

5. Construction of Tent Platforms and Framing

 

You can indicate a preferred project or you can volunteer to help wherever you are needed.
