PARKER SCOUT RESERVATION

 

Parker Scout Reservation was established in 1941

by Clyde Parker and it is located at:

 

21930 Paradise Drive

Nisswa, MN  56468

Crow Wing County.

 

The Camp sits on 256 acres of wooded land on North Long Lake and features

a dining lodge, several cabins, a trading post, a shower house, a swimming beach,

several campsites, a family camp and much more!

 

The Camp is available year round for use by Scout Units and non-Scouting groups.

Parker Cub Scout Summer Camp Staff Opportunities

 

Counselor-In-Training Staff

Boy Scouts (recommended age of 14, as of 6/1/08)

are encouraged to apply for one weekend or for the

entire summer. This is a great opportunity for Scouts

needing service hours for advancement.

Volunteer Staff

Boy Scouts (recommended age of 18, as of 6/1/08)

are encouraged to apply for one weekend or all five.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for

a volunteer role helping scouts at camp.

Camp Health Officer 

We need a trained Camp Health Officer for the Parker Scout Reservation.

This is a volunteer position and would be for 5 weekends only. You do not

have to commit to every weekend, but it would be appreciated if you could.

 

Preferred applicants will have one of the following qualifications:

  - Licensed Physician

  - RN, LPN, LVN

  - Paramedic/EMT

  - Military Corp Medic

  - First Responder Trained
